Norfolk status Widespread. Lakes, rivers, streams, Broads and ponds, wherever the foodplant found.
Distinctive species with white-ringed black spots.
The larvae feed inside the seedheads of Bulrush and over winter. They can be detected by the presence of protruding down.Recorded in 55 (74%) of 74 10k Squares. First Recorded in 1874. Last Recorded in 2024. Additional Stats
